CURRY
NIGHTS 2004
CHELTENHAM
Sponsored by Reed Accountancy
The Cheltenham Curry Night took place at the Balti Walla Restaurant on the
Bath Road in Cheltenham. This was a joint event between BADCASS and YCAG, and
was very well attended. The food was delicious and in true BADCASS style, substantial
quantities of beer and wine were consumed.
There was a great degree of competition regarding who could eat the spiciest
curry. There was such rivalry that serious consideration is now being given
to a "Curry Trophy" to recognise such enthusiasm.
There was also at least one curry debutant in attendance who has been converted
into a fully fledged curry monster since trying his first curry at this event.
We look forward to next year's event with eager anticipation.
Who will eat the most curry? Who else can be converted to
curry-eating ways? And will there really be a "Curry Trophy"?!
BRISTOL
Sponsored by Reed Accountancy
In order to forget the ordeal of college and the cold winter weather 30 BADCASS
members descended upon the Brunel Raj curry house in Clifton village. Drinks
were quickly ordered as we got down to the serious business of deciding what
to eat.
After some excellent food and a fair bit of drink, the majority of diners were
pretty stuffed. However, those who fancied a few more drinks adjourned to the
nearby Hophouse to round off the night.
Thank you to sponsors Reed and to the Brunel Raj for their excellent service. click on photos to enlarge
