Annual Dinner 2006

Friday 17 March

Friday 17 March 2006 saw 330 accountants from the South West gather at The Thistle Hotel, Bristol for the BADCASS Annual Dinner, kindly supported by Hays Accounting and Finance. The dinner was arguably the high-light in what has been an excellent year for BADCASS. Guests were welcomed for pre-dinner drink by The Aurora String Quartet. With the crowd still reasonably sober the executive committee raised there glasses for the toasts and presentation of the BADCASS Sports Trophies.

With the formalities undertaken the mood relaxed somewhat. Unsurprisingly the gents took more to giant twister than the ladies! The casino was a great success and helped raise over £1000 for CLIC Sargent.

Many finely dressed accountants from the crème of the business world turned into Mr Bean wannabes when the disco commenced. They were no doubt fuelled by Vodka drunk through the torsos of our Adam and Eve ice sculptures.

The Annual Dinner gave many accountants from many different firms a chance to integrate (some more than others!!!) and let their hair down, underlining the purpose of the society.

I think it is safe to say a great night was had by all!
