The Easter Party was an excellent opportunity for all the students of the ICAEW in the Bristol region to stretch their legs and get their fill of beverages after the savage winter busy season. And the students didn’t disappoint!

The night was sponsored by Definitive Consulting who were generous in their sponsorship, and made an excellent effort to decorate the venue for the evening.

The venue itself (Bar Comfi on the Triangle, Clifton) put on an excellent display, coping with the vast numbers of slightly worse for ware students admirably. The drinks flowed freely from the opening at 8:30 to about 11:00 when it has to be said, few people needed more. But more they did have!!

One of the big events of the evening was the ‘prize draw’ for the trip to Brussels. The fantastic prize went to Pete Barker of KPMG.

The DJ (Tom Hodgkinson) kept the crowds dancing all night with a wide selection of tunes from the sublime to the crazy. A good night was had by all (I certainly had an excellent time) especially one individual who seemed hell bent on being unable to walk. Needless to say he did survive to tell the story (or at least what he remembers).
