BADCASS Pool Competition

Monday the 17th of January saw the return of the Michael Page pool competition. The venue was again Rileys American Pool and Snooker Hall and I would like to take the opportunity to thank the management for their part in the event. As ever the event was excellent and the service exceptional.

The competition itself got underway and there was some excellent pool on display (as-well as some not so exceptional pool.) The drinks flowed and an excellent atmosphere filled the hall. The competition ploughed on and four of the best players arrived in the semi final. The first semi final saw Bash Noor knocked out by the reigning champion Phil Lyons, and the second match saw committee member James Blakeborough knock out Will Musson. The final was a tense affair and went down to the last ball, but it was the reigning champion Phil Lyons who succeeded and takes the crown for another year. Michael Page's own Andy James pulled through in the runners up competition.
