Pub Quiz 2006

Thursday 16 February

On Thursday 16 February, 55 highly competitive chartered accountant students tested their talents and knowledge in a challenging 6 round pub quiz. The event was held at Channing's pub on Pembroke road and hosted by Toner Graham.

The 13 teams were taxed on topics ranging from geography & history to celebrities and film quotes. Memorable questions included “who is fitter out of Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Anniston?” and “what is Toner Grahams phone number?”

Despite the early rounds being closely contested, and some debatable tactics by a team of 8 (you know who you are!), a team of PWC students emerged as victorious, and a bottle of champagne was awarded to each member.

In addition to a well-ordered quiz, some delicious pub style food and a free bar with waiter service throughout the evening led to a great night had by all.
