The Student Support Team has had another busy year with a steady increase in emails and calls from students. In September 2002 we held a successful conference at which students received an update on Enron and its impact on the accountancy profession. The conference was also attended by examiners who ran session on being successful in ICAEW exams.

The Student Support Team has also developed the Student Society area on the website where you can view upcoming events and find articles and pictures of past events. The website is available to view at: www.icaew.co.uk/students

This year we are focusing on student Induction's and already have 18 confirmed bookings.
In response to feedback from students, and following the monitoring of call flows, the Student Help-line will trial new opening hours from Monday 12 May.

Our new opening hours will be:
Monday 8.30 - 5.00
Tuesday 8.30 - 5.00
Wednesday 8.30 - 5.00
Thursday 8.30 - 5.00
Friday 10.00 - 4.00

We would be pleased to receive any comments from students relating to these changes, which will be reviewed again after 3 months to ensure they are still reflecting the needs of callers.
