BADCASS/MICHAEL PAGE VOLLEY BALL
Summer 2005 Volley Ball Tournament

On Thursday 5 th May over 50 BADCASS members from KPMG, Goldwyns, Bentley Jennison, Saffery Champness, Hazlewoods, Baker Tilly and Deloitte got together for the annual BADCASS Mixed Volleyball tournament sponsored by Michael Page.

Thankfully the British summer time rain did not join in the fun and the event went off well on what was an 'almost' beautiful summer evening!

The group stage was hard fought and despite their battling performance the team from Deloittes and Hazlewoods dropped out at this stage.

The two semi finals were very close matches. KPMG were narrowly beaten by Saffery Champness in the first semi, and after a marathon match Goldwyns edged Bently Jennison out and made it through to the final.

With the majority of the support in the Bar enjoying Michael Pages hospitality, Goldwyns were convincing winners in the final despite Bently Jennison's efforts.

Nick Bentley from Michael Page presented the trophy to the Captain of Goldwyns to cap off a very enjoyable social event.
